Bethany is into American Girls and she reads their stories. She likes Kirsten who is a pioneer girl that has a patchwork quilt. Bethany wanted to make a quilt for her Kirsten doll. I helped cut it out and Bethany sewed the top together, then I finished it. She decided when she got the top finished that it was big enough to cut in half and share with Bryn. Cutting a quilt in half is a big sacrifice, so that was a very nice thing to do. Now both American Girls have a quilt. Good job with your first sewing project Bethany!

Replica of Emily's card

I mailed Emily's card before I took a picture of it. This is not an exact repilica, but you get the idea. I cut the flowers from patterned paper with a craft knife or sissors. I put some Making Memories blue, white, and green crystal brads in the center of a few of the flowers.

Darin's Card

This is Darin's birthday card this year. Sorry that it is fuzzy. I found all of the pictures on the internet including the background. Then I cut everything out and glued it together.

Tweeting Card

Steve suggested the title "Tweeting Card" as a play on "greeting card". I find it kind of cheesy, but oh well, I couldn't think of anything better. Anyway, I finally made something that I like. I don't like it as much as I had hoped I would, but I do like it. So here it is. Thanks to Meridy for the stamps. Hopefully I'll have some more things that I like posted here soon.
