This is the valentine I sent to Brazil. I did 6 reasons because Valentine's Day was Zach's 6 month mark. Angie and I were going to buy a kit from Pebbles for these, but they were $25! They did take a while to make. Of course, I probably would have gotten through it a Lot more quickly if I hadn't spent SO much time trying to figure out exactly what I wanted it to look like.

That is really cute! Does it snap?--how does it stay closed? Good job saving the money! I bet Zach will love it.
Did you buy an album and fill it out? Or did you Make the album? Oh, and I like the idea of using it for a "valentine". That way the recipient can make it more of a keepsake.

The cover thing is all just brown paper-it's held together with brads. The kit in Pebbles had a magnet, but I was trying to go light-weight, so I took a glob of dried glue out of the lid of my Zig liquid glue stick thing and used that. After I sent it, I saw the sticky stuff that was holding a gift card to its cardboard thing. That's what I was going for.
